By "restore" do you mean to view only, or do you mean to convert to a square pixel (or some other) standard? You can view with Video Lan (http://www.videolan.org/ - free) and you can convert and edit with Video Explosion Deluxe (originally Video Factory when Sonic Foundry made it - $80 http://www.novadevelopment.com/products/productinfo.aspx?productcode=vew )

Yes, I was talking about viewing mostly, thanks. Actually I've just discovered that with BSPlayer you can modify the aspect ratio practically without limits as well, plus the pan-scan, zoom, etc.
